High Newton, Grange over Sands, Cumbria, LA11 6JH

Newton-in-Cartmel Village Hall, ideally located in High Newton, near the Heft Inn, in the Lake District National Park and provides a fine venue for a wide range of events for the local community and for public, private and corporate functions. The village of High Newton is very accessible, situated just off the A590 between Kendal and Ulverston. The village is well served by public transport. The X6 Stagecoach service between Kendal and Barrow stops in the village. Grange over Sands railway station is only 3.5 miles away with direct services and connections to Manchester.

Newton-in-Cartmel Village Hall

is the ideal venue for:

Meetings and events for groups on a regular or occasional basis

Children’s parties, local weddings, christenings, birthdays and other functions

Stage performances of music and drama, and film shows

Presentations, lectures or talks

Stop-over points for long-distance runners, bike races

and auto races. We are on the ‘Tour de Staveley’ cycle route!
